“Thousands of Iranian Americans from across the United States will gather in New York to hold a weeklong campaign against the presence of Iran’s delegation at the United Nations, highlighting that it is a regime of terror and execution, having executed more that 1600 people since its president Pezeshkian took office in August 2024. The campaign will urge for reimposition of United Nations sanctions against Iran and highlight the need to support the Iranian people and their organized resistance in their fight to overthrew the terrorist regime in Tehran as outlined by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi (the President Elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran).
Starting on September 17, 2025, the campaign will include daily picket lines outside the United Nations building and the surrounding areas. The campaign will include photo exhibitions and evening candlelight vigils on a number of campaign days. The exact location, time and date of these events will be posted on our social media platforms.
The campaign efforts will culminate in a major rally on September 23rd, 2025, in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (2nd Avenue & 47th Street) starting at 10AM. Thousands will call for the U.N. to hold the regime accountable for gross human rights violations and express support for Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan for a free Iran. Human rights activists, religious leaders, and prominent former U.S. government officials are expected to address the event. Bipartisan members of congress have also been invited to address the rally.
Another rally will also be held at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza on September 24, 2025, the day Iran regime President is scheduled to address the UNGA.”

Who We Are
We are a grassroots Iranian-American organization dedicated to promoting a free, democratic, republic of Iran. We are dedicated to echoing the voices of Iranians inside Iran, who are fighting for a society built upon the fundamental values of equality, freedom, and prosperity for all, regardless of religion, gender, race, or ethnicity.
Our goal is to organize Iranian-American communities across the United States to advocate for the aspirations of the Iranian people, and fight any form of tyranny and dictatorship inside Iran.
“Organization of Iranian American Communities in active in more than 40 US states. Our community members tirelessly volunteer to echo the voice of the Iranian people and thus regularly hold congressional briefings, photo exhibitions, rallies, and cultural events in support of the Iranian people and their desire to establish a democratic republic.”
Our volunteer community members work with bipartisan members of congress to enable and support legislation that holds the criminal tyrants in Tehran accountable and support the Iranian people’s democratic aspirations. Among these measures are House Resolution 1148 which acknowledges and upholds the Iranian people’s inherent right to determine their political future, as articulated in the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights and calls for holding the Iranian regime accountable for its actions through the continued imposition of sanctions and to support the Iranian Resistance’s Ten-Point Plan for the Future of Iran. Other measure include House Resolution 100, House Resolution 627 and engagement with congressional caucus.
